Welcome to Healing On The Mat, your journey of mind, body, and soul connection

Philosophy

My practice is deeply rooted in the belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. While traditional yoga is often associated with Buddha, my approach is fueled by the teachings and guidance of Christ. However, through enlightenment and spiritual growth, I have come to understand that love encourages us to extend ourselves to all for the benefit of unity. I recognize and respect that individuals may follow different paths to spiritual enlightenment, and we can honor this diversity within our practice. My goal is to provide a space for all to experience spiritual healing, regardless of their faith background, by incorporating principles of love, compassion, mindfulness, and science into our sessions.

I believe in the power of sound baths as a transformative force, intertwining rhythms of nature, and the pulses of various soundscapes to guide our explorations of mind, body, and spirit. My sessions are a journey through Power Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pilates enriched by meditation, mindfulness, and gratitude practices that nurture a holistic sense of wellness and inner peace.

My commitment extends beyond physical practice, recognizing the diverse backgrounds and potential emotional traumas many may carry. I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and understanding environment that supports every individual's journey towards healing, growth, and self-discovery.

“Emotions are consistently cast as the opposition in a war that never seems to end. The scorched earth of your heart bears the scars, but your heart was never meant to be a battlefield. Your heart is a garden.”
